Baluster
Tassels, spindles, seed pods and plant structures have all influenced these forms which are often used as candlesticks. They are built in one piece rather than separately joined components. The pieces can be unglazed or glazed using crackle glaze or shiny colourful glazes. Recently copper wire has been added to attach sections. Baluster sculptures are sometimes used as a maquette for the larger, garden Tor pieces.
